Food events

This is no secret that the love of good food and homemade cuisine is an essential part of French culture. Indeed, we are proud of our gastronomic heritage and we love to share it.
That is why food events are organised throughout the year in the Dordogne Valley.

‘L’assiette de Cyrano’ in Bergerac

The famous Bergerac personality gives his name to a good food and wine festival where the visitor can choose between different menus proposed by restaurateurs in the town centre at reasonable prices, each with a different theme ranging from Périgordian specialities to international cuisine. Wine producers team up with restaurateurs to serve their wine. Music and free shows in the street accompany the festival.
